Axon Unveils AI Tools: Live Video Analytics, CJIS-Compliant Mobile Assistant and Axon 911 Integration

AXONAXON

Axon launched three AI-driven tools—Axon Vision for real-time analytics across millions of CCTV feeds, an expanded Axon Assistant with CJIS-compliant mobile access, and Axon 911 built on Prepared and Carbyne acquisitions. These tools aim to reduce data fragmentation, accelerate incident responses and deliver secure operational intelligence for public safety agencies.

1. Overview of AI Platform Expansion

Axon introduced three new AI capabilities designed to unify data across video, mobile and emergency response workflows. By addressing the “data tax” from 240 million annual 911 calls and millions of hours of camera footage, these tools aim to streamline incident detection and coordination.

2. Axon Vision for Real-Time Video Analytics

Axon Vision uses machine learning to scan live CCTV and body-worn camera feeds, highlighting critical activity as it happens. Operators can verify alerts by switching views among nearby cameras, reducing manual review time and helping agencies respond more precisely.

3. Expansion of Axon Assistant

The enhanced Axon Assistant now runs across the full Axon Ecosystem on mobile devices and complies with FBI CJIS Security Policy. It enables officers to create BOLO alerts, research cases and coordinate between field and back office with secure, AI-powered access to evidence and records.

4. Integration of Axon 911

Axon 911 merges cloud infrastructure from Prepared and Carbyne acquisitions to embed emergency call data into AI-enabled dispatch workflows. This integration provides call centers with critical context before responders arrive, aiming to cut response times and improve situational awareness.
