BAE Systems won a Boeing contract to supply AN/ALQ-250 EPAWSS electronic warfare systems for South Korea’s F-15K fighter fleet.
EPAWSS is part of a foreign military sales-backed program to upgrade 59 Republic of Korea Air Force F-15K aircraft.
System capabilities and production status
The system provides 360-degree threat detection and countermeasures to support operations in contested electromagnetic environments.
BAE noted EPAWSS is in full-rate production for new F-15EX jets, with retrofit work also underway for F-15E aircraft.
