Baidu Apollo Go, Lyft’s Freenow start London road tests for autonomous ride-hailing fleet
BIDU•London road tests begin in Brent
Baidu’s Apollo Go has started road testing its RT6 autonomous vehicles in London with Freenow by Lyft.
The program begins in Brent with safety operators onboard, and public riders are targeted from 2027, subject to regulatory approvals.
Part of broader Baidu-Lyft partnership
The move builds on a 2025 Baidu-Lyft partnership to deploy Apollo Go robotaxis across key European markets via the Lyft platform.
