Veralto buys Cleanwater1 from Baird Capital

Veralto agreed to buy Cleanwater1 from Baird Capital’s Global Private Equity team, ending an investment made in 2022.

Cleanwater1 supplies water and wastewater quality management solutions, including chemical feed systems and gas-phase filtration, to municipal and industrial customers.

During Baird Capital’s holding period, revenue nearly tripled, EBITDA rose more than 4.5x, and the company completed four add-on acquisitions.

Baird Capital described the sale as its largest dollar distribution from a portfolio-company exit to date.
