Ballard Power Directors Re-Elected with Up to 99.16% Support and KPMG Auditor Re-Appointment
BLDP•At Ballard Power Systems’ 2026 Annual General Meeting, all six director nominees won majority support, with votes for ranging from 90.45% to 99.16%, while resignations included Janet Woodruff and Weichai nominees. KPMG LLP was re-appointed auditor with 87.02% support and an advisory approval of executive compensation at 90.75%.
1. Re-Election of Board Directors
At the 2026 Annual General Meeting, shareholders re-elected all six nominated directors. Kathy Bayless secured 98.21% support, Jacqueline Dedo 98.78%, Marty Neese 99.16%, James Roche 91.35%, Hubertus M. Muehlhaeuser 90.80% and Douglas P. Hayhurst 90.45%.
2. Board Resignations
Janet Woodruff resigned her board seat effective June 2, 2026, and Weichai nominees Michael Chen and Huajie Wang stepped down effective May 13, 2026. The company noted director biographies are available on its website.
3. Auditor Re-Appointment and Compensation Vote
Shareholders re-appointed KPMG LLP as auditor with 87.02% support and 12.98% withheld. An advisory vote on executive compensation passed with 90.75% in favor and 9.25% against.
