BancFirst Q2 FY26 net income rises 7.05% to $66.7 million; net interest margin widens 9 bps to 3.84%

BancFirst posted Q2 net income of $66.7 million, or $1.96 per diluted share, up from $62.3 million, or $1.85, a year earlier.
Net interest income rose to $133.5 million from $121.3 million; net interest margin widened to 3.84% from 3.75%.
Credit costs, noninterest income and acquisition update
Provision for credit losses increased to $4.9 million from $1.4 million; net charge-offs fell to $2.4 million from $4.7 million.
Noninterest income climbed to $53.9 million from $48.0 million, including $2.9 million of gains tied to bank-owned life insurance claims.
CEO David Harlow said results set a record; the SpiritBank acquisition was announced, with a fourth-quarter close and conversion anticipated pending approvals.
