Banco Santander amends bylaws after EUR 170.89 million capital reduction

Banco Santander registered a capital reduction deed that amended its bylaws, cutting share capital by EUR 170.89 million.
The transaction cancelled 341,781,250 treasury shares, about 2.21% of share capital. Issued share capital was reset to EUR 7.58 billion, represented by 15,152,492,322 shares at EUR 0.50 nominal value.
Cumulative buyback-related reductions since 2021
Cumulative reductions since November 2021 total EUR 1.09 billion, reflecting 2,188,148,980 shares repurchased, about 12.62% of the base.
