Bank of America, partners launch $40 million initiative to invest in nature and biodiversity
BAC•Bank of America, the Sustainable Markets Initiative and Eurazeo launched the Lighthouse Initiative on September 23, 2026, with $40 million in capital commitments to invest in nature and biodiversity. The initiative is open to additional investors.
1. Investment focus
Eurazeo’s Future Industries team will manage minority investments in project development platforms and selected technology-enabled solutions across developed and emerging markets. Each investment is expected to support at least one Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework target, with performance tracked using dedicated biodiversity indicators.
