Bank of Hawaii Q2 FY26 net income rises 11.1% to $63.8 million; EPS climbs to $1.47

Bank of Hawaii posted Q2 2026 diluted EPS of $1.47, up 13.08% from the prior quarter, as net income rose 11.1% to $63.8 million.
Net interest margin widened 0.04 percentage points to 2.78%, and net interest income increased 1.7% to $153.6 million.
Expenses fall while credit costs and capital actions remain active
Noninterest expense fell 4.2% to $111.2 million, and the efficiency ratio improved to 56.47% from 60.35%.
Provision for credit losses climbed to $3.6 million. Non-performing assets eased to $11.5 million, or 0.08% of loans and foreclosed real estate.
The company repurchased 216,000 shares for $17 million and declared a quarterly common dividend of $0.70 per share.
