- British American Tobacco released a simplified Scope 3 methodology update for its December-to-November 2025 reporting period.
- Total Scope 3 emissions were reported at 4.51 million tCO₂e, split between 4.03 million non-FLAG and 480,667 FLAG.
- Purchased goods and services remained the largest source at 2.91 million tCO₂e, including 623,910 tCO₂e from tobacco leaf.
- Investments emissions totaled 662,137 tCO₂e, calculated using proportional ownership and sector-country factors from the CEDA by Watershed database.
- Biogenic CO₂ from biomass was calculated at 1.66 million tCO₂e but excluded from the reporting boundary; Cuba was excluded.
