Net interest income and lending trends
Net interest income slipped 2.9% from 1Q26 to ARS 912.2 billion, while NIM edged down 0.4 percentage point to 18.2%.
Private-sector loans grew 2.1% from 1Q26 to ARS 17.08 trillion, while private deposits increased 4.3% to ARS 18.54 trillion.
Net profit and profitability improved in 2Q26
BBVA Argentina posted 2Q26 net profit of ARS 131.56 billion, up 44.6% from 1Q26 and 65.2% from 2Q25.
Profitability improved, with ROE rising 3.9 percentage points to 12.2% and ROA increasing 0.6 percentage point to 1.8% from 1Q26.
