BBVA's Q3 net profit rises 19% from same period a year ago
BBVA•BBVA reported third-quarter net profit of €3.02 billion, up 19% from €2.53 billion a year earlier and slightly above analysts' €3.01 billion expectation.

BBVA said its net profit rose 19% year over year to €3.02 billion between July and September, compared with €2.53 billion in the same period last year. Analysts polled by Reuters had expected €3.01 billion. The bank cited a solid performance in Mexico.
