BCBP•BCB Bancorp agreed to sell problem loan portfolios with $205.3 million in unpaid principal as of June 30, 2026, and expects a $43.3 million pre-tax loss to be recorded in the third quarter.
1. Portfolio sale details
The portfolios include about $180.7 million in commercial and multifamily real estate loans, $14.8 million in commercial and industrial loans, and $9.8 million in construction loans; business express loans are excluded. Five transactions have closed, and the remaining sale is expected to close before the end of the third quarter of 2026.
