The companies plan to debut the workflow at IBC 2026, scheduled for Sept. 11-14 in Amsterdam, integrating VAST’s AI Operating System with NVIDIA Video Super Resolution.
Archive upscaling and encoding pipeline
The pipeline targets archive upscaling to 1080p or 4K, then uses Beamr’s content-adaptive encoding to cut file sizes by up to 50%.
The collaboration also supports migrating libraries to HEVC or AV1 to enable premium distribution formats and new monetization opportunities.
