Sept. 18 (Reuters) - US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent will meet with Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng to discuss a wide range of economic issues, the Associated Press reported on Friday, citing a source familiar with the plans.
Artificial intelligence will be a focus of the Bessent-He talks, the report said, adding that China’s stockpiles of rare earths minerals will also be on the agenda.
