Gen Z led adoption at 71%, followed by millennials and Gen X at 65%, then boomers at 55%, pointing to a widening generational split.
Cost remained the main purchase driver, cited by 81% of Gen Z and millennials; environmental impact ranked second for younger cohorts.
Refurbished devices averaged about 40% savings versus original retail prices, supported by a minimum three-month guarantee.
Open box purchases delivered about 28% average savings, with strongest consideration among Gen Z and millennials.
