Better disputes ex-CEO Vishal Garg claim of 46% shareholder support for consent push
BETR•Committee says shareholder lists were provided
The committee said Better provided three share ownership lists requested by Garg’s counsel, disputing claims the board withheld shareholder information.
Shareholders were urged to ignore Garg’s campaign and return the WHITE consent revocation card to withdraw any prior green-card consent.
Board committee rejects Garg’s support claims
Better’s board special committee rejected former CEO Vishal Garg’s claims of 46% shareholder backing for his consent solicitation.
The committee said its review of custodians and previously submitted consents shows support is far below 46%, driven mainly by Garg’s super-voting shares.
It said Garg previously claimed more than 50% support, calling that statement false.
