Better Home & Finance’s board special committee rejected former CEO Vishal Garg’s proposed turnaround plan as late, unworkable, and lacking operational foundation.
The committee said the plan came after a pattern of missed targets under Garg, including his pledge to reach $1 billion in monthly loan volume by May 2026.
