BillionToOne study finds Northstar Response assay matches or beats tumor-informed monitoring
BLLN•BillionToOne reported peer-reviewed real-world study results showing its Northstar Response tissue-free ctDNA assay tracked treatment-related disease changes as well as, or better than, a tumor-informed monitoring test in advanced cancer patients. The findings were published in The Journal of Liquid Biopsy.
1. Study findings
The study compared Northstar Response with a tumor-informed ctDNA monitoring test in advanced cancer patients. When results disagreed, Northstar Response aligned with imaging or biopsy, and the findings support a tissue-free workflow when tumor tissue is unavailable or testing is delayed.
