BESS•Investor deck outlines storage pipeline and financing approach
Bimergen Energy released an investor deck outlining a utility-scale battery storage pipeline of 23 projects totaling about 2.0 GW across ERCOT, WECC, PJM, and MISO.
The company said its capital plan centers on project-level, non-recourse financing with ITC monetization of up to 50% of project capex.
Bimergen disclosed USD 250 million of strategic capital commitments, including USD 50 million in mezzanine financing and USD 200 million in project equity financing.
The deck also highlighted tolling and hedge structures designed to provide a minimum revenue floor with upside sharing on performance above the floor.
For a typical 100 MW project, the company cited USD 125 million of capital with management-estimated annual average potential revenue of USD 20 million.
