Bio-Techne will have Dr. Matt McManus step down as President of its Diagnostics and Spatial Biology segment on March 1, 2026, remaining temporarily to ensure a smooth transition. Steve Crouse, Senior Vice President of Analytical Solutions, will assume that presidency the same day.

1. Transition Announcement

Bio-Techne announced that Dr. Matt McManus will step down as President of its Diagnostics and Spatial Biology segment effective March 1, 2026. McManus will remain with the company for a period to support a seamless handover of segment leadership and ongoing projects.

2. New President Appointment

Steve Crouse, currently Senior Vice President of the Analytical Solutions Division, will succeed McManus on March 1, 2026. Crouse has overseen Bio-Techne’s protein analysis instruments and immunoassay portfolio, launched multiple innovative platforms, and driven strong growth during his four-year tenure.

3. CEO Remarks on Leadership

Kim Kelderman, President and CEO, praised McManus for optimizing the organization and divesting the Exosome business, and highlighted Crouse’s 20-plus years of life sciences leadership. Kelderman emphasized collaboration between Crouse and Protein Sciences President Will Geist to drive the company’s next phase of growth.
