Biodesix targets 2028 launch for imaging-based lung nodule risk test
BDSX•Biodesix is targeting a 2028 commercial launch for its first imaging-based lung nodule risk test, developed with Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt Health. The STRATIFY study is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with initial performance results planned for presentation on December 3, 2026.
1. Test development and study
Biodesix is adding digital diagnostics to its lung testing strategy with an imaging-based lung nodule risk test intended to complement its Nodify Lung blood-testing portfolio. The prospective STRATIFY study is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026 and will match blood and imaging biomarkers with clinical outcomes to support clinical validation, reimbursement evidence and future multimodal diagnostic development.
