BioLineRx GLIX1 combination shows antitumor activity in preclinical ovarian cancer study
BLRX•BioLineRx and Hemispherian presented preclinical results showing GLIX1 enhanced PARP inhibitor activity in ovarian cancer cell lines and that GLIX1 with olaparib inhibited tumor growth in mice. An ovarian cancer arm is planned for GLIX1’s ongoing Phase 1/2a trial.
1. Preclinical combination results
BioLineRx and Hemispherian presented preclinical GLIX1 combination results in ovarian cancer at ESMO 2026 on Oct. 23. GLIX1 enhanced PARP inhibitor activity across multiple ovarian cancer cell lines without homologous recombination deficiency; in a mouse model, low-dose GLIX1 with olaparib inhibited tumor growth, outperforming either drug alone and showing activity comparable to cisplatin.
2. Planned trial expansion
An ovarian cancer arm is planned for the expansion phase of GLIX1’s ongoing Phase 1/2a glioblastoma trial.
