BioLineRx's GLIX1 shows synergy with PARP inhibitors in preclinical ovarian cancer studies
BLRX•BioLineRx and Hemispherian presented preclinical results showing GLIX1 combinations with three PARP inhibitors produced ZIP synergy scores of 10.9-43.2. In a 28-day study, low-dose GLIX1 with olaparib inhibited tumor growth and performed better than either drug alone.

The companies presented results at ESMO 2026 showing reproducible synergy across multiple cell lines in homologous recombination-proficient ovarian cancer. In a 28-day patient-derived xenograft study, low-dose GLIX1 with olaparib significantly inhibited tumor growth versus vehicle control and outperformed either drug alone at its optimal dose, with inhibition comparable to cisplatin. GLIX1 is in a Phase 1/2a glioblastoma trial, with an ovarian cancer arm planned for the expansion phase.
