BioMarin appointed Bristol Myers Squibb Chief Research Officer Robert Plenge to its board, effective Sept. 10, 2026.
Plenge is an executive vice president at Bristol Myers Squibb, leading research across nine sites worldwide.
He joined Bristol Myers Squibb in 2019 via its Celgene acquisition, where he led immunology and inflammation research.
Earlier roles included head of translational medicine at Merck, assistant professor at Harvard Medical School, and associate member at the Broad Institute.
