BioMarin names Cara Bauer chief people officer, effective Oct. 5, 2026
BMRN•BioMarin named Cara Bauer executive vice president and chief people officer, effective Oct. 5, 2026. She will succeed retiring Amy Wireman.
1. Bauer joins BioMarin
Bauer will lead BioMarin’s human resources organization. She joins from Kyverna Therapeutics, where she served as chief human resources officer.
2. Previous roles
Bauer previously led global human resources at Kite, a Gilead company, and held earlier HR leadership roles at Riot Games, Netflix, Amgen and Novo Nordisk.
