BioMarin signs global patent license deal with Ascendis for TransCon CNP products
BMRN•BioMarin signed a settlement and license agreement with Ascendis covering TransCon CNP products, effective Aug. 28, 2026. BioMarin will receive royalties of 20% on U.S. net sales and 18% in the EU, Brazil and South Korea through May 2030.
1. License and settlement terms
Ascendis received a non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable license to BioMarin patents for developing and commercializing TransCon CNP products across current and future indications. Pending patent litigation between the companies will be dismissed with prejudice under the agreement.
