BiomX completed acquisition of 100% of Zorronet from Water.io, gaining AI-powered command-and-control software used by Israel Defense Forces, Israel Railways, Elbit Systems and international clients. The move expands BiomX’s defense portfolio targeting the $81 billion global C2 and video analytics markets projected by 2030.
1. Acquisition of Zorronet
BiomX finalized the purchase of 100% of Zorronet from Water.io, marking its entry into defense, security and rescue markets. The deal transfers full control of Zorronet’s AI-driven command-and-control platform to BiomX, aligning with the company’s strategy to diversify into high-growth sectors.
2. Zorronet’s AI Command-and-Control Platform
Zorronet’s software integrates video analytics, drone feeds, sensors and IoT devices to deliver unified operational intelligence. Its AI and machine learning modules detect, classify and prioritize threats in near real time, enabling faster decision-making in mission-critical environments.
3. Market Opportunity
The global command-and-control systems market is projected to reach $44 billion by 2030, while video analytics is expected to exceed $37 billion in the same period. BiomX aims to capture a share of the combined $81 billion opportunity driven by demand for integrated situational awareness and AI-enabled decision support.
4. Strategic Fit and Synergies
This acquisition complements BiomX’s option to acquire DFSL, an Israeli LADAR solutions provider specializing in counter-UAS and perimeter security. Together, Zorronet and DFSL enhance BiomX’s capabilities across defense, rescue and critical infrastructure monitoring.
