1. Launch of X Security & Defense

BiomX Inc. has established X Security & Defense LTD as a wholly‐owned subsidiary in Netanya, Israel, allocating over $3 million from internal funds to finance 2026 operations, acquisitions and first‐response activities in security, defense and emergency response.

2. Exclusive Distribution LOI

The subsidiary signed a non‐binding letter of intent with an unrelated third party to obtain exclusive Israeli distribution rights for an advanced aerial firefighting system, featuring high‐pressure water and fire‐retardant dispersion drones designed for rapid, targeted fire suppression in challenging terrains.

3. Market Opportunity

The global UAV market for emergency responders was valued at $3.2 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach $9.6 billion by 2032, while the firefighting drone segment grew to $1.8 billion in 2023 with forecasts exceeding $4.5 billion by 2032, driven by rising wildfire incidents and infrastructure risks.

4. Strategic Growth Plans

Through X Security & Defense, BiomX aims to leverage Israel’s substantial emergency preparedness budgets—over $500 million for fire and rescue services and Homefront Command—to commercialize and deploy advanced defense and security technologies across national security, critical infrastructure protection and emergency response sectors.
