BiomX’s subsidiary Zorronet achieved a 98% success rate in a NIS 800,000 pilot with Israel Railways, securing a 12-month framework supply agreement for AI-powered detection systems across an initial 15 stations. The deal targets broader rollout across 1,700 kilometers of track and adds to BiomX’s defense tech portfolio.

1. Pilot Results and Investment

Zorronet completed a large-scale pilot project with Israel Railways valued at NIS 800,000, achieving a 98% success rate in detecting and deterring wildlife—such as wild boar, foxes, and gazelles—from railway tracks. The AI-powered platform’s real-time analytics prevented infrastructure damage and preserved ecological corridors over the past year.

2. Framework Agreement Details

Under the new 12-month framework agreement, Zorronet will install and maintain 15 AI-enabled alert stations with 120-meter detection ranges along track sections, providing 24/7 service center support. The contract includes camera-based analytics, automated alerts, and future purchase options for additional stations based on performance and coverage needs.

3. Strategic Implications and Expansion

The deal positions BiomX’s defense tech portfolio for broader infrastructure deployment across Israel Railways’ 1,700 kilometers of track and bolsters recurring service revenue prospects. Combined with the recent DFSL LADAR acquisition, the agreement validates Zorronet’s platform for security, defense, and critical national infrastructure applications.
