Birchtech has appointed Michael Mioska as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately, following his role as an independent consultant to the company since 2023. His transition into a full-time executive position replaces the fractional CFO model previously led by Fiona Fitzmaurice.

Mioska holds a CPA designation and an MBA, and brings over 20 years of experience in accounting, audit, regulatory compliance and M&A advisory across North American public companies. He previously served at a major Vancouver accounting firm before launching his consultancy in 2021.
