Birchtech names Charlie Cooper business development manager for rural, small water systems
BCHT•Birchtech appointed Charlie Cooper business development manager, effective Oct. 1, 2026, to expand its work with municipalities, public service districts and utility operators, emphasizing rural and small water systems.
1. Appointment and experience
Cooper previously ran the Emerging Contaminants Program at West Virginia Rural Water Association and worked as a water plant operator for the City of Lewisburg, West Virginia. He also led Alpha Natural Resources’ environmental department, managing water treatment and compliance across 131 mining permits.
