Agreement in principle for specialty activated carbon assets
Birchtech reached an agreement in principle to acquire substantially all assets of a privately held specialty activated carbon company.
The deal targets initial commercial-scale processing and manufacturing, accelerating the rollout of its Carbon Rejuvenation lower-temperature thermal reactivation technology.
The target’s operations would add facilities in North Dakota and Pennsylvania to Birchtech’s Design Center footprint, expanding water-treatment rejuvenation capacity.
The non-binding term sheet includes exclusivity; closing depends on a definitive agreement, remaining due diligence, an audit, and other conditions.
