Birks FY26 net loss narrows to C$3.4 million; net sales rise 15.5% to C$205.4 million

- Birks Group posted a fiscal 2026 net loss of CAD 3.4 million, or CAD 0.17 per share, narrowing from CAD 12.8 million, or CAD 0.66 per share.
- Net sales rose 15.5% to CAD 205.4 million; comparable store sales increased 2.6%.
- Operating income turned positive at CAD 3.1 million from an operating loss; adjusted EBITDA increased to CAD 12.9 million from CAD 9.2 million.
- Gross profit climbed to CAD 79.2 million, lifting gross margin 1.2 percentage points to 38.5% on a foreign exchange gain.
Management commentary and store plans
Executive Chairman and interim CEO Niccolò Rossi di Montelera cited the integration of the European Boutique business. The company also said it plans a Birks mono-brand Vancouver store for fall 2026.
