BitFuFu Boosts Bitcoin Production 22.1% and Triples Self-Mining Output to 90 BTC
FUFU•BitFuFu produced 177 BTC in May, a 22.1% month-over-month increase driven by eased power curtailment and improved fleet efficiency. Self-mining output nearly tripled to 90 BTC, raising total Bitcoin holdings to 1,855 BTC and reflecting a strategic capital shift toward building its Bitcoin balance sheet.
1. May Production Metrics
BitFuFu delivered 177 BTC in May, marking a 22.1% increase from April with daily production rising to 5.7 BTC from 4.8 BTC. The growth was driven by reduced power curtailment at facilities, enhancing miner uptime and overall Bitcoin output.
2. Strategic Shift to Self-Mining
Self-mining production surged to 90 BTC in May, up from 32 BTC in April, accounting for over 50% of total output. This reflects a deliberate capital allocation to self-mining as management pursues long-term accumulation, boosting holdings to 1,855 BTC.
3. Infrastructure and Efficiency Update
Total hashrate under management declined to 19.5 EH/s from 22.4 EH/s, while power capacity fell to 346 MW from 404 MW. Despite these cuts, average fleet efficiency improved to 17.8 J/TH, underscoring ongoing operational optimization.
