1. QNX Expands Embedded Processor Support
BlackBerry Ltd’s QNX division has added support for AMD’s Ryzen Embedded V2000 processors on QNX Software Development Platform 8.0, enabling developers to build automotive, industrial and medical systems. AMD plans to add Ryzen AI Embedded P100 support in a future update, broadening AI-capable use cases.
2. Adeia Licensing Agreement Resolves Litigation
AMD and Adeia signed a multi-year licensing agreement granting AMD access to Adeia’s semiconductor IP portfolio and ending all active legal disputes between the two companies.
3. Share Price Recovery Amid Sector Selloff
After a 3.9% share price decline from February 27 to March 6 versus a 6.8% drop in the PHLX Semiconductor Index, AMD shares rebounded 0.4% in premarket trading on March 10.
