Bloom Energy expands MiTAC partnership for Fremont microgrid
Bloom Energy expanded its partnership with MiTAC Computing to deploy fuel cell systems for an islanded microgrid at MiTAC’s Fremont, California campus.
The project builds on an existing installation at MiTAC’s San Jose facility, lifting MiTAC’s contracted onsite power capacity.
The systems are intended to support current AI server manufacturing operations, with flexibility to add capacity as demand grows.
Bloom cited nearly two dozen AI infrastructure customers with about 250 MW of capacity, up from near zero two years ago.
