BNY expanded its collaboration with Ripple, adding support for XRP and Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin on its Digital Asset Custody platform and exploring tokenized trade finance.

1. Custody support expands

BNY’s Digital Asset Custody platform now supports XRP and Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin. Planned initiatives include direct RLUSD minting and redemption through the bank and broader custody support for tokenized assets issued on XRP Ledger.

2. Trade finance initiative

The partners are exploring a supply chain finance initiative with C2FO to expand investor access to trade finance assets.
