BOC Aviation orders up to 300 CFM LEAP engines to power A320neo, 737 MAX jets
GE•GE Aerospace unit wins firm order from BOC Aviation
- GE Aerospace unit CFM International secured a firm order from BOC Aviation for up to 300 LEAP engines.
- The order covers up to 200 LEAP-1A engines for Airbus A320neo-family aircraft, and up to 100 LEAP-1B engines for Boeing 737 MAX jets.
- The transaction supports BOC Aviation fleet growth, extending a CFM supply relationship that dates to 1998.
- CFM said more than 10,000 LEAP engines have been delivered to date, and highlighted ongoing upgrades aimed at durability and maintenance reductions.
