Boeing posted second-quarter revenue up 8% to USD 24.6 billion; GAAP loss narrowed to USD 428 million, or USD 0.67 a share.
Operating cash flow climbed to USD 1.4 billion from USD 227 million a year earlier; free cash flow turned positive at USD 631 million.
Total backlog grew to a record USD 715 billion, including more than 6,200 commercial airplanes; commercial deliveries rose 14% to 171.
Production and certification updates
737 production began transitioning to 47 a month; certification flight testing completed for the 737-7 and 737-10, with certification still expected in 2026.
CEO Kelly Ortberg said operations are more stable, key certification programs remain on plan, and the focus remains on safety, quality and on-time performance.
