Ueda will deliver a speech and then hold a conversation with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva at the November 6 lecture in Washington. The event follows the BOJ's two-day policy meeting concluding October 30; its next meeting is scheduled for December 17-18.
Many market players expect the BOJ to raise interest rates again by year-end, after two hikes this year, including one in September.
