Bonterra’s 2026 resource update for the Bachelor and Moroy deposits shows a 42% increase in Measured & Indicated gold to 228 koz at 3.98 g/t within 1.78 Mt, plus 133 koz inferred at 4.23 g/t. All resources lie within 900 m of the Bachelor Mill, supporting a quick restart.
1. Updated Mineral Resource Estimates
Bonterra’s 2026 MRE increases combined Measured & Indicated resources by 42% to 228,000 oz gold at 3.98 g/t within 1.78 million tonnes and Inferred resources by 28% to 133,000 oz at 4.23 g/t within 0.978 million tonnes, compared with 2021 estimates.
2. Deposit Breakdown
The Moroy Deposit hosts 115,000 oz of Measured & Indicated resources grading 4.10 g/t and 105,000 oz inferred at 4.18 g/t. The Bachelor Deposit contains 113,000 oz Measured & Indicated at 3.87 g/t and 28,000 oz inferred at 4.45 g/t.
3. Strategic Infrastructure
All updated resources are located within 900 metres of the fully permitted Bachelor Mill Complex, offering low-cost feedstock potential and a strategic pathway to accelerate underground mining operations restart.
4. Upcoming Exploration
Bonterra plans to launch its 2026 Desmaraisville exploration program imminently, targeting high-potential zones identified by recent oriented core drilling and revised geological modelling.
