BorgWarner Tops Auto Components, 21st Overall in 2026 Sustainability Rankings
BorgWarner earned spots on Corporate Knights' 2026 Global 100 and USA 25 Most Sustainable Corporations list, ranking first in auto components, eighth in cars and trucks manufacturing, 21st overall and third in US automotive. It marks its second consecutive Global 100 appearance, driven by sustainable revenue, investment and growth KPIs.
1. 2026 Sustainability List Inclusions
In March 2026, BorgWarner secured inclusion on Corporate Knights’ Global 100 index for the second consecutive year and earned a spot on the inaugural USA 25 Most Sustainable Corporations list.
2. Detailed Industry Rankings
Within the Global 100, BorgWarner ranked first in the auto components industry, eighth in the cars and trucks manufacturing peer group and third among US-headquartered automotive firms. On the USA 25 list, it placed 21st overall.
3. KPI-Based Methodology
Both rankings are based on three equally weighted KPIs: the percentage of revenue from sustainable products; the share of total investment in sustainable projects or research; and the compound annual growth rate of sustainable revenue.
