BorgWarner won new variable cam timing program awards in Europe and China, including a life extension and volume increase for a European premium OEM.
- The European award covers a V6 hybrid and gasoline engine family already in series production; higher volumes start in January 2027.
- BorgWarner also secured a conquest award from a major Chinese OEM for a high-volume 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine family.
- The China program replaces the incumbent supplier; start of production is planned for September 2026.
