It engaged a California-licensed general contracting capability, shifting from third-party coordination to owning projects from factory delivery to finished installation.
Move aims to bundle pricing and tighten execution
The move targets bundled, more predictable pricing for permitting, site preparation, foundations, installation, tighter quality control, and warranty alignment.
Supports a wider customer base and future expansion
The capability supports single-home buyers, larger developers, municipalities, and institutional customers, including direct bids on multi-unit projects via RFPs.
Boxabl plans to extend the model beyond California through additional in-state contractor hires or expanded licensing as demand grows.
