BP awarded exploration and production license for Loran Field

BP PLC said it was awarded an exploration and production licence by the government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for phase 2 of the Loran field in the Plataforma Deltana area.

BP said it will operate the development.

BP said it is partnering with XRG, ADNOC's international energy investment, and UCC Oil & Gas Holding, with each party holding an equal working interest share.
