BP•Whiting refinery and union to resume talks
Sept. 17 (Reuters) - BP said representatives from its 440,000 barrel-per-day oil refinery in Whiting, Indiana, and United Steelworkers union Local 7-1 will meet again next Tuesday.
BP said the representatives met today and that while the leadership are still working on several key issues, the conversations were constructive.
"The refinery continues to operate safely, reliably and compliantly, with no impact to operations as a result of the current labor dispute," BP added.
