The Brady Corporation agreed to acquire Honeywell’s Productivity Solutions and Services business for $1.4 billion, adding a unit with roughly 3,000 employees and $1.1 billion in 2025 revenue. The deal will be funded with cash on hand and new debt, while preserving dividend growth and share repurchases.

1. Deal Terms

Brady Corporation announced on April 20 that it will acquire Honeywell’s Productivity Solutions and Services unit for $1.4 billion. The transaction has not yet closed but is expected to integrate smoothly into Brady’s existing portfolio without altering its current performance expectations for the year.

2. Target Business Profile

Productivity Solutions and Services, headquartered in Fort Mill, South Carolina, employs approximately 3,000 people worldwide and generated about $1.1 billion in revenue in 2025. The unit specializes in mobile computers, barcode scanners and printing solutions for warehouse and logistics markets, areas where Brady previously had limited exposure.

3. Financing and Outlook

CFO Ann Thorton stated the purchase will be funded through cash on hand and new debt, with immediate prioritization of debt reduction. Brady plans to maintain its dividend increases and opportunistic share repurchases while investing in its organic businesses, and CEO Russell Shaller confirmed the deal will not distract from current operations.
