Brazil agency clears copper and PGM by-product sales
Brazil’s National Mining Agency cleared Largo to produce and sell copper concentrates with platinum group metals from its Maracás Menchen mine.
The decision expands output beyond vanadium, titanium and iron; production ramp-up starts immediately using existing ilmenite flotation infrastructure.
Ilmenite concentrate production is being suspended temporarily to prioritize copper-PGM volumes; first shipment terms are under discussion with smelters and traders.
