Joint venture with Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund
JBS agreed last week to a joint venture with PT Danantara, an arm of Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund, to pursue investments in protein production across Indonesia, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Brazil's JBS, the world's largest meatpacker, is eyeing opportunities in the chicken sector to grow in Southeast Asia, the firm's Chief Executive Gilberto Tomazoni said on Tuesday, adding the assessment includes potential acquisitions.
But the firm hasn't found the right conditions yet, he said in a call with analysts.
